Detailed Instructions:

From Everett go north on Hwy I-5 to exit 275 in Blaine Highway 543

This will take you to the Truck border crossing. Much faster then going thru the Peace Arch

Entering British Columbia

Road name changes to Hwy-15 (176 street)

Go North on Hwy 15 …Look for Campbell River Mini mart Store on the right (1 mile)

This is the best place to pick-up your fishing license. They are open at 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM

Optional: You can purchase your Fishing License on-line.

Continue North on Hwy 15 to 8th Ave and turn left

Take Ramp (RIGHT) onto Hwy-99 towards Hwy-99 / Vancouver

At exit 28, keep RIGHT onto Ramp towards Hwy-17 / River Road / Tsawwassen / Ferries

Keep LEFT to stay on Ramp towards Tsawwassen / Ferries

Turn LEFT (South-West) onto Hwy-17

Bear RIGHT (West) onto Local road (s)

Arrive at Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal, Delta, British Columbia, Canada. It's a good idea to make reservations through rbi. It could save you hours of waiting for the next Ferry. Cost is around $15 each way.

Arrive at Duke Point Ferry Terminal, Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada (2 hours)

Driving directions to Port Alberni Canada

Depart onto Hwy-19 [Duke Point Hwy]

Turn RIGHT (North) onto Hwy-19A

Bear LEFT (West) onto Hwy-19A [Island Hwy N]

At exit 51, keep RIGHT onto Ramp towards Hwy-4A / Parksville / Coombs (0.2 mi)

Keep LEFT to stay on Ramp towards Hwy-4A / Coombs

Turn LEFT (South-West) onto Hwy-4A [Alberni Hwy]

Turn LEFT (West) onto Hwy-4 [Alberni Hwy]

Arrive at Port Alberni Canada

Launch at Clutesi Haven Marina. That is at Johnston Road and Victoria Quay.

Head down river to Clifton Pt. on Tzartus Island (ICECREAM) 27 miles
